The purpose of this role is to manage the development and delivery of the strategic pathway for brand and marketing, with a full marketing funnel view to ensure we are delivering to market in a differentiated and sustainable way.
You will set the marketing plan and monitor its implementation across customer marketing and communications ensuring all activity is aligned with the brand and marketing strategic plan. Your team will define budgets including media and channel investment plans and associated measurement frameworks.
Key requirements A strategic marketing expert -proven ability to development business, brand, comms and media strategy in a large corporate organisation.Stakeholder management - to guide and monitor implementation of brand, marketing and media strategic plans.Data-driven mindset - understands and can plan based on business insights, market trends, marketing measurement and media mix modelling.Strong commercial acumen - can confidentially translate opportunities and business problems in to marketing outcomes and align stakeholders around what the outcome can achieve using a data-driven approach.Ability to think conceptually, outside the box - challenges the norm and approaches solutions with an open mind.Amazing communicator - ability to give and receive constructive feedback, challenge in the right way with the right intent, and manage stakeholders at every level to ensure alignment around marketing outcomes being developed end executed.Experience in working with and managing marketing agency partners (media and creative), product teams and marketing research and insights function to ensure a data driven approach to decision making and planning.In-depth understanding of Retail banking, and associated competitive landscape Your team: Brand and Customer Strategy
A team that sets the strategy for bank-wide marketing and guides implementation of brand communications. The Brand and Customer strategy team is a multi-disciplinary team bringing together insights, strategy, brand and sponsorships experts.
This team is responsible for:
Gathering insights to understand our customer and market context, Defining the marketing strategy for Bankwest, Guardianship of brand identity and narrative,
Brand implementation - campaigns, sponsorship, social media and design (creative services), Management of budget, process and agency relationship.
