Senior Manager - IT Quality Assurance What can you expect? Global Tech QA team is the COE for testing and quality assurance for the whole MMC group and is collocated across various countries. As the Senior Manager - IT Quality Assurance, the position will deliver hands-on management and coordination in an onshore-offshore model, while liaising with stakeholders and testers. The position will have a major focus on manual and automated testing striving for continuous improvement of the quality and framework of the developed software products, which are inclusive of complex back-end systems and client-facing solutions.

Latest innovative technologies to expand the testing horizonBenefits and programs that support career developmentHealth reimbursementsFlexible workingFull time, 35 hour working week727 Collins Street Docklands, MelbourneVisa sponsorship for the right candidate possessing the skills, qualifications and Australian experienceGreat global team environment with energetic and supportive colleagues We will count on you to: Ensure that consistent quality and completion of testing process is achieved through AutomationUnderstand Business requirements and develop test strategyInvestigate technical problems and needs and determine possible solutionsComplete product upgrade and release testing, monitoring and controllingCommunicate effectively with team members and stakeholdersOwn Pacific GT QA test transformation initiatives for Registry systemActively seek out and manage Client expectationsLiaise with the Test Leads, QA team, Squads and Development team on a daily basisComplete status reporting to all stakeholdersCoordinate and work with the scrum team and stakeholdersDrive test planning and delivery for all functional scrum teams in offshoreManage day to day tasks for execution of test scripts (Manual and Automated) and reporting test results to stakeholdersDocument test results, defect logs and issue logs wherever possibleDevelop strategies for test automationParticipate in the development of technical documentation where possibleProvide technical assistance/coaching to other team membersTrain and mentor other members of the teamWork with other test leads to improve ROI of overall functional test.Effectively communicate with team members, internal and external customers relating project status, delivery dates and project risks in a professional manner.Delegate tasks and make team members accountable for their work assignments.Provide Coordination support to key project manager by managing day to day activities for team members.Identify and resolve issues and problems that will affect accuracy of the technical specification. Manage modifications based on specific client needs.Ensure technical specifications include testing, documentation and instructions What you need to have: 15+ years' experience in the IT industry with demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projectsExcellent knowledge and experience of Manual testing techniques including planning, executing, monitoring and controllingStrong Project Management experiencePrevious QA experience in the testing environmentPrevious experience in offshore/onshore and managing multi-location teamsA strong understanding of Superannuation & Wealth Management domainA strong understanding of Registry systems and expected user experienceKnowledge of Confluence/JIRAStrong knowledge of MS-Office and associated functionalityTest Planning, Execution, Monitoring and ControllingExperience in managing and driving AutomationEnd to end experience of the project lifecycle and experience of RAD/Agile/Hybrid and Waterfall methodologiesStrong relationship building & customer focusThe ability to multi-task in multiple initiatives / implementations simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills both upstream / downstreamStrong leading skills with focus on strategic goal alignmentsA high degree of problem-solving skills to resolve problems in a multi-product/service environment What makes you stand out?
