The Opportunity Dexus owns and manages the best office portfolio in Australia on behalf of some of the world's most sophisticated real estate investors.
The Office Sector currently is responsible for the sector investment strategy execution from origination capital transactions, development, asset management, and property management.
To support Dexus's journey towards becoming recognised as Australasia's leading real assets manager, a unique opportunity is available to join a high-performance team as a Senior Manager Investment Strategy – Office.
This is a hands-on and fast-paced role in which you drive forming strategy with responsibility for creating insights through data that embed investment management thinking.
You will make an impact by: Strategic Development: Assist in forming the Office sector strategy by modelling key value creation drivers and defining investment criteria (e.g., sub-sector focus, geographical focus, trade metrics, zoning).Competitive Analysis: Assess local and international competitor landscapes to define strategies for building competitive advantages.Research Coordination: Collaborate with CIO Research to create materials that provide insights on sector-specific trends, investment plans, and investor reporting.Performance Evaluation: Conduct buy/hold/sell analysis, rank assets by performance, and perform return attribution analysis.Transaction Support: Coordinate with Capital Transactions to provide research and strategic perspectives on potential opportunities.Analytics Development: Build analytics capabilities by consolidating data sources, creating automated dashboards, and generating real-time reports.Project Management: Assist in delivering projects within agreed budgets, schedules, and specifications.About You You are a driven Senior Manager, with outstanding attention to detail and analytical ability.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
You bring strong personal gravitas and sound communication skills, which combined with your ability to tell the story using data influence investment decision making.
You will bring: CA, CFA or Master of Applied Finance.8+ years' experience in a property and/or private equity environment.Experience in transaction/project management, with relevant Office transaction experience.Working knowledge of property valuation software such as Forbury, ARGUS or Estate Master.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with internal and external parties.Effective time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.Positive attitude and team spirit with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a range of people with diverse personalities.Able to maintain confidence/deal with highly sensitive information.Why choose Dexus?
