The Position
In this newly created role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you play a critical role to assist develop and drive strategic decision making across the organisation by gathering insights and measuring the impact of AgriFutures investments. This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate across the business as well as with industry stakeholders to formulate the narrative and data around insights and impact. With this data you will report, plan and assist the decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Conduct financial and economic impact assessments, forecasts and models to inform and measure the impact of RD&E investment Seek continuous improvement of methods, processes, procedures and systems used in the RD&E investments process Oversee RD&E project and program-level monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities aimed at performance measurement against the industry RD&E Plans Produce meaningful reports, summaries and presentations tailored to the business and specific audience Assist business units to better plan, prioritise and review investment reports and conduct end of project reviews Play a training and development role to build internal capability The Person
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and key attributes:
Expert analytical and problem-solving skills, including monitoring and evaluation metrics, complex data, business case and investment analysis Proven track record of using complex data to inform business strategy and drive growth, a minimum of 3 years Comprehensive understanding of agricultural markets and producers Ideally exposure to research project investments or funds initiatives Strong project management skills with change management experience and continuous improvements Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders with an ability to persuade and influence Knowledge of IT systems and data architecture, with the ability to translate current tools into system requirements Proven financial and business acumen, with strong commercial judgement Tertiary qualifications in Economics or an equivalent relevant field Highly developed presentation and communication skills with a high attention to detail To discuss this opportunity we encourage you to call David Jackson or Al Kellaway on 1300 380 701 or apply online providing a cover letter addressing the advert content and a current resume.
