Senior Manager Finance & Procurement (Chief Financial Officer)RIA3126903THIS POSITION IS BASED IN FREMANTLE(COMMUTING TO ROTTNEST ISLAND AS REQUIRED)THE APPLICATION CLOSING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDEDAPPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION NOW CLOSE ATMIDDAY ON FRIDAY, 20 DECEMBER 2024Job DescriptionAs a member of the RIA's Corporate Executive management team, the Senior Manager Finance and Procurement/Chief Financial Officer participates in the management, planning, formulation and implementation of RIA's strategic initiatives, governance and policy development.
The position leads the Finance and Procurement Branch, overseeing the preparation of the annual financial report (including external audit), monthly financial statements and associated Board reports, and the State budget process.
The position ensures RIA financial processes, policies and procedures comply with statutory requirements, provides high-level advice regarding financial systems and risk management, and analyzes complex financial issues.
Additionally, the position oversees RIA's procurement activities in accordance with the Western Australian Procurement Rules, maintains RIA's project management framework, and tracks and coordinates reporting on project delivery across RIA.
