Senior Manager Finance & Procurement (Chief Financial Officer)Tenure: 12-months Fixed-term, Full-time (with the possibility of extension or permanency)Location: Fremantle and Rottnest Island (commuting), Western AustraliaAs a member of the RIA's Corporate Executive management team, the Senior Manager Finance and Procurement/Chief Financial Officer participates in the management, planning, formulation and implementation of RIA's strategic initiatives, governance and policy development. The position leads the Finance and Procurement Branch, overseeing the preparation of the annual financial report (including external audit), monthly financial statements, associated Board reports, and the State budget process. It ensures RIA financial processes, policies, and procedures comply with statutory requirements. The role provides high-level advice regarding financial systems, financial risk management, and the analysis of complex financial issues, while also overseeing RIA's procurement activities in accordance with the Western Australian Procurement Rules.At RIA, we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provide a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
