We are always striving to display flexibility and resilience to embrace change.Job DescriptionAbout the roleThe Senior Manager, Facilities and Assets is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of the facility's infrastructure and assets. This role ensures the effective execution of both day-to-day operations and strategic asset management plans, adhering to the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF). The position will be responsible for the complete lifecycle management of the Centre's assets including setting the standards and processes and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, transformational change and exceeding service standards across our diverse contracts, optimising resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Desired Skills and ExperienceSelection CriteriaEssential qualifications and experienceTo be successful in this position, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or a combination of relevant education and experience.Significant asset management and project management experience in a senior role within a complex business at scale.Deep expertise in asset planning, including financial modelling, budgeting, and economic analysis.Excellent ability to work with and influence stakeholders across the business, including operational areas and executive members.Exceptional business acumen and a strong commercial mindset and track record of navigating complex environments.Track record in leading complex infrastructure projects to successful implementation and driving operational improvements which deliver measurable value.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, coach and manage a high-performing team.In-depth understanding of compliance requirements related to health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a track record of effectively managing risks associated with facilities and assets.Strong capability in managing budgets and financial resources for facility and asset management, including developing business plans, service delivery models, and ensuring cost-effective resource utilisation.Desirable qualifications and experienceKnowledge of the Victorian Government's Asset Management Accountability Framework (AMAF).Experience in the use of facilities related systems such as BMS, Access Control, AIMS or equivalent.Special requirementsFlexibility in working hours to support daytime, evening, and some weekend work will be required as part of the normal hours of duty for this position.The following checks, licences and certifications are required for this role:Current and valid Working with Children's Check (employee)Sound like you?
