About the Role Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for financial crime compliance?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) function.
In this pivotal role, you will manage the ECDD operations of the Bank, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF requirements, while providing expert guidance, leadership, and support to enhance the bank's ECDD capabilities.
You will act as a subject matter expert and advisor for the BOQ Group, overseeing the accurate completion of cases from end to end & leading a team at a time where we are experiencing growth within the bank.
This role will focus on the people & policy side of change - Delivering & translating business plans to the Group while staying up to date on emerging AML/CTF trends and regulatory requirements is a must with upcoming & ongoing regulatory changes in the industry As our ECDD Senior Manager, you'll engage with key stakeholders across the group to maintaining and improve relevant policies, and procedures, to proactively manage risk incidents across the team.
You will be nurturing & supporting to lead, coach and mentor towards the development of the team.
You'll also have the support of Head of Financial Crime Due Diligence to establish, maintain and manage implementation of project key messages strategic narrative – If this sounds like the right role for you and you're looking to join a multi-brand on the forefront of financial services, we'd love to chat!
About you You – our successful candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record in the AML/investigations sector – alongside demonstrated expertise in AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC reporting requirements.
You have extensive experience in managing large, complex programs and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
Your excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a solid understanding of financial principles and risk mitigation, make you an ideal candidate for this role.
You are proactive, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a client-centric approach to customer service.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing teams, excellent time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment are essential.
A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once are also crucial.
