Come and shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.Your opportunity:Our Digital & Information group have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager - Digital Application Programs to join our newly established Program delivery focussed, Digital Programs Team.Reporting to the General Manager Digital Programs, the Senior Manager Digital Application Programs is accountable to lead a number of teams responsible for the successful build, delivery and testing of Urban Utilities applications related programs inclusive of all digital portfolio, digital transformation and service enhancements across information technology (IT), operating technology (OT), data, and Internet of Things (IOT) environments, ensuring exceptional digital service experiences are delivered to Urban Utilities people, functions and customers.Leading a diverse team of professional and operational staff, this role is responsible to implement Urban Utilities digital and data strategy in a cost-effective way that optimises business outcomes, employee experience and minimises impact. You will do this through the delivery of high-quality digital application transformation programs that are reliable, resilient, align with business objectives/priorities, modernise and integrate with the technology architecture and operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and critical outcomes.In doing so you will take responsibility for the application program delivery, inclusive of security and data risks, working closely with colleagues as needed. You will lead and advise key stakeholders in process reviews, streamlining and automating for efficiency of process delivery to enhance user experience and reduce costs. You will ensure the operational and business readiness of all application programs to ensure they are fit for handover to the D&I operations team, and that business teams are ready and equipped to use the application.About you:Bachelor's degree in Program/Project Management, Computer Science, Business/Management, or Engineering, with significant industry knowledge and experience.Agile, PRINCE2, or PMBOK certification is advantageous.Significant demonstrated experience in IT program management, leading teams to deliver complex solutions.Strong knowledge of digital technologies across ICT, OT, data, and IoT domains.Proficiency in ITIL.Extensive experience with human-centered design, service design, and agile project delivery.Experience in implementing digital transformation, organizational change, and fostering digital culture and capability development.Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction planning.Proven experience running a similar multi-function unit in a large organisation, ideally with a customer centric model.Performance of 'on call' duties are an inherent requirement of this role. This requires that the employee must be available to be on-call and to attend to work matters, both in person and remotely, outside of normal working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as reasonably required to fulfill the requirements of the position.Why Urban Utilities?At Urban Utilities, the work we do is about so much more than the bottom line.
