As a Senior Manager – Delivery & Engineering in the Sustainable Business Energy Solutions (SBES) Team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery and engineering functions that executes on the Energy Solutions strategy by planning, directing and implementing the successful delivery and engineering strategy to create profitability for the business and great customer experiences.
You will be coordinating and managing support functions such as Health & Safety, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other internal business stakeholders ensuring operational efficiency, driving revenue and profitability in the business by supporting project pricing for sales and ensuring effective budget management of projects.
The work you will be doing will directly contribute to Australia's largest Commercial & Industrial (C&I) businesses reaching their decarbonisation goals. At AGL, we're not just changing the game; we're changing the planet for the better, one project at a time!
What you'll be doing: Working closely with peers within C&I Business Unit to develop an integrated strategy across Energy Solutions and the wider group which draws from best practice thinking and market trends to continuously improve processes and capabilities across Energy Solutions.Delivering on revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction and employee engagement objectives by leading, resourcing and supporting the team and facilitating a network of ideas sharing across Energy Solutions by encouraging and empowering subject matter experts to make decisions and instilling a strong sense of business ownership.Developing and executing the design, fabrication and installation delivery strategy and achieving a high safety standard across delivery operations through rigorous governance and contractor management and contributing to the customer experience by setting and maintaining standards for customer management, communication and compliant resolution.Driving business profitability through active project cost control, payment collection and growth in the Energy Solutions business through effective planning, resource management and implementation of systems and processes.Ensuring targets are set and managed within the team for proactive HSE activities such as field audits and HSE conversations, and corrective or improvement actions arising from incident investigations or proactive HSE activities are closed out within the agreed timeframes and ensuring all risks are identified, considered and appropriately mitigated.What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and recognised project management qualification and CEC Design accredited, as well as experience in program delivery or operational management roles including revenue and cost management within the energy industry.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to identify and deliver on new market opportunities and products.Strong internal and external stakeholder capability, including demonstrated customer focus, management of third-party contractors' experience and negotiating skills.Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver a strong HSE culture and experience in quality control.Inclusion at AGL At AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
