The Role We are looking for an experienced banking, finance or mortgage broking professional to join our Debt Advisory Team as a Senior Manager to drive growth and provide exceptional debt advisory services to our clients in Geelong and Tasmania.
You will provide expert guidance and customized debt solutions to our clients, helping them address their lending needs while proactively supporting them in achieving their business objectives.
This role is essential in managing and developing strong relationships with both new and existing clients, particularly in the Agri-business sector.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities while proficiently managing client relationships to drive loyalty and retention.
As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for:
Providing tailored debt advice and lending solutions to clients and managing the end-to-end process for both commercial and residential loan applications.
Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth in the regions.
Managing and nurturing existing client relationships, fostering loyalty and retention.
Ensuring compliance by staying current with changes in lending regulations and practices, identifying potential risks, and mitigating them within the loan portfolio.
Collaborating with other divisions to ensure efficient loan processing and closing and executing lending strategies that align with the firm's growth goals.
Representing the firm in leadership forums, including client presentations, written publications, training sessions, and networking events.
As our new team member, you will have:
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in commercial and residential lending.
Strong knowledge of lending products, regulations, underwriting processes, and credit risk assessment.
Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse lending portfolio, including asset loans, commercial real estate, residential mortgages, and construction loans.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated business development experience, including identifying and securing new opportunities.
Proficiency in financial analysis and ability to interpret financial statements, market trends, and risk factors.
Knowledge of local markets and economic conditions specifically in regional areas and agriculture environments.
