About the role The Senior Manager Cyber Intelligence is a key member of the Cyber, Data and Digital Resilience team. Reporting to the Director, Cyber Incidents and Emergencies, the Senior Manager Cyber Intelligence is responsible for providing intelligence leadership and contributing to the division's broader incident and emergency functions. It includes leadership and coordination of the intelligence functions throughout the intelligence cycle to support operational and strategic decision making.
Key Accountabilities include:
Works closely with the divisional leadership to design, develop and deliver intelligence support, products and services. Provides thorough analysis and expert advice to ministers, senior executives and other key stakeholders on issues relating to cyber intelligence. Leads the CSDDRD intelligence cell through all stages of the intelligence cycle, including providing expert advice to the Victorian Government Chief Information Security Officer and key stakeholders. Leads the development of intelligence doctrine, plans, products and systems to improve intelligence cell capabilities. About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrated experience in providing expert intelligence leadership and operational delivery during security incidents. Experience in leading intelligence operations for government, including working with the Australian Intelligence Community. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in preparing operational reports and briefs. Exceptional leadership in an intelligence environment, including analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills, with a proven record of initiating and maintaining relationships across government and industry sectors.
