About the role We're seeking a Senior Manager – Customer Service Assurance to develop and implement risk-based assurance plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls across Customer Service and key delivery partners. You will lead guidance and training of staff on internal controls and risk management, whilst also monitoring and reporting on the status of control effectiveness and remediation efforts. You'll join a team that will develop a risk-aware compliance culture throughout Customer Service. As our Senior Manager – Customer Service Assurance, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. Day-to-day, you will: Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of current controls and identify any areas for improvement.Lead and manage risk reporting requirements.Be responsible for the identification and management of risk, assurance, and compliance items relating to strategic initiatives.Lead risk and compliance reviews.Manage risk management procedures, actions, and timelines, ensuring Customer Service meets its compliance obligations. This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including: Minimum 10 years of relevant risk and compliance management experience.Experience delivering governance, risk, and compliance programs.Strong understanding of strategy, governance, compliance, and performance dynamics.An understanding of corporate and trust practices, principles, and systems.Ability to review, implement, and manage effective data management and information systems.ISO or other industry accreditations – nice to have.
