Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits, and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We are looking for a Senior Manager for Corporate Affairs who will oversee stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, marketing, and media relations. Driving positive brand sentiment and strengthening Power and Water's reputation with customers and the broader Territory community, this is a critical role in working to achieve Power and Water's purpose and vision. The Corporate Affairs team enhances Power and Water's brand through meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships, managing and upholding accountability through community and stakeholder engagement.
You will provide expert leadership of the Corporate Affairs function through high-level strategic, tactical, and policy advice. With extensive experience overseeing branding, strategic communications, and corporate affairs functions, you will lead a team in communications and engagement strategizing. The successful applicant will have superior interpersonal and communication skills, including persuasive, influential, and negotiation abilities, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels and facilitating timely and appropriate media responses and crisis communication plans.
