Our Consulting team in Sydney is on a growth trajectory and as aresult we now have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join ourteam and lead the delivery of projects and programs from strategythrough to execution and support the development and enhancement oftools, processes, and practices by bringing new ideas and thinkingto the table.

Engagements may include (and are not limited to):
Strategy, Portfolio Prioritisation and PlanningOperating Model design, implementation and reviewTransformation delivery across programs and projectsBusiness Performance ImprovementProcess optimisationYou'll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of exceptional client outcomes as partof a BDO team delivering transformation programs and projectsfrom design through to planning and implementationFacilitating sessions with leaders to create space fordifficult conversations and achieve alignment on key areas ofproposed models (e.g. vision, people, process, technology)Leading the scoping of client needs, work planning anddevelopment of proposals, supported by the BDO team andcapabilitiesBringing different thinking and innovative ideas to solveclient challengesSupporting our growth through developing and building onBDO products and toolsBringing together SMEs across people, process, andtechnology to deliver for our clientsDriving projects from inception to close following astructured approach and best practice project managementprinciplesThis is a full-time opportunity and will require a high level ofprofessional autonomy focused on delivering outcomes for clientsand building the capability of the BDO Consulting team.You'll be considered an expert in this space.
This will suit candidates with over 7 years' experienceworking in a consulting environment (whether in-house or external)with experience aligning leaders to a clear vision, settingstrategy, planning, designing and implementing programs &projects and delivering change. This will involve bringing togetherSMEs across people, process and technology to deliver, whilstbuilding internal capability and creating tools and frameworks fordelivery.
What you'll need to succeed: Experience in program & project managementprinciplesEnd-to-end engagement management experience from planning,budget & job management, engagement closeBusiness development, bids and complex proposal managementexperienceExperience in sizing engagements including scoping theskills & experience required, team structure and supportingpricing framework for deliveryDrive, proactivity and enthusiasm to deliver exceptionalclient outcomes and build trusting relationshipsAn interest and ability to create and enhance frameworks,methods, and toolkits to support delivery of clientengagementsAbility to mentor and support others and commitment tobuilding capability within the BDO Team and clientsConfidence and maturity to work with and facilitateconsultations/sessions/discussions with senior leaders andexecutives to achieve an outcomeExceptional written and verbal communication skillsExcellent grasp of MS Office Suite, particularlyPowerPoint, Word, and ExcelEnjoys working within a team environment and learning fromothersWhat we will offer you BDO offers professional development, collaborative culture,workplace flexibility, global career growth opportunities and anindustry-competitive salary package.
