About the role: Reporting to the Head of Operations this role will be based in the Adelaide CBD and will oversee the full lifecycle of collections from early stage-delinquency through to recoveries and debt sales for all loan products.
You will lead and mentor a growing Collections team, fostering a high performance culture, collaborating across internal departments including legal and compliance and risk ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and fair customer outcomes are delivered.
Other responsibilities include: Ensure all hardship cases are handled in line with regulatory requirements and company policies, while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
Regularly review and improve hardship support programs to enhance customer outcomes.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, enhancing team members' skills and knowledge.
Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including collection agencies, recovery firms, and auction houses Ensure the team meets service level agreements (SLAs) and consistently achieves quality standards Identify opportunities for process optimization and the implementation of best practices across the collections function Monitor and ensure accurate reporting and data analysis, using insights to drive improvements and operational efficiency What's in it for you?

Who are we looking for?
A strong leader of people with a demonstrated track record of building strong culture while driving performance.
You have proven experience in managing collections across the full lifecycle, ideally within both secured and unsecured lending You have a strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including NCCP, ASIC, and AML/KYC You have exemplary relationship management skills, with experience working with external vendors and stakeholders You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on recoveries and continuous improvement If this sounds like the role you'd like to start 2025 in, I want to hear from you.
