Who are we? Established in 1991, Danila Dilba HealthService (DDHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed toproviding culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care servicesand community development within the Biluru (Aboriginal) community of the YilliRreung (Greater Darwin) Region in the Northern Territory.
We work to address the social determinants ofhealth including the broader issues that affect our people's health, throughevidence-based research and public advocacy. We also work to empowerindividuals, families, and communities to optimise their health.
About the role The SeniorManager Clinical Operations will work under the direction of the ExecutiveManager Clinical Services and alongside other Senior/Clinic Manager to lead,develop, implement, oversee, and manage the operations, and future growth anddevelopment of Clinical Services at DDHS.
Responsibilities: Contribute to the development, planning, implementation and review ofpolicies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements andbest practice. Support risk management practices in identifying, assessing, mitigating,and reporting incidents and risks within Clinical Services. Provide leadership and support to other Managers and Team Leaders withinthe team to build internal capacity and capability. Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators, Medicare, andContractual requirements. Be a key representative and actively contribute to internal/externalsorganisational committees and working groups. Support change management initiatives related to Clinical Services,including process improvements. Under the guidance of the EM Clinical Services, lead several workpackages identified in the Project Implementation Plan for the new DDHS servicemodel implementation. Lead pilot projects or trials of approaches developed in work packagestaking a Continuous Quality Improvement approach to monitor and advise onadjustments required. To besuccessful you will need: Experience inclinical services or healthcare management, with a strong understanding ofhealthcare regulations and standards. Proven leadershipskills with the ability to drive change and foster collaboration across diverseteams. Excellent writtenand oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in dataanalysis, reporting, and project management. Experience in riskmanagement, policy development, and change management. Ability tomultitask, prioritise, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamicenvironment. Culturallycompetent, ability to navigate a culturally inclusive environment.
