About the role
This is a rare opportunity to coordinate and drive city presentation outcomes in a community where 10 new residents move in every day.

The Senior Manager City Operations is pivotal in ensuring high quality presentation of our city, enhancing the livability and aesthetic appeal of our community.
The role leads the work of Council in determining priorities and developing and implementing innovative solutions which effectively delivers positive community outcomes, quality community amenity and contributes to sustainable maintenance and asset renewal activities.
Your challenges will include:
Ensuring systems are in place to monitor the changing needs of the local community and responding accordingly.
Developing and delivering initiatives that respond to Council's strategic objectives, including development of strategy for the next 2-3 years to lift city appearance.
Collecting and analysing data, to provide assurance that the services being delivered by City Operations are meeting community expectations.
Creating an environment where innovation and continuous quality improvement are emphasised and recognised, and risk is managed effectively.
About you
You have a passion for making our city a great place to live.
You want to bring new ideas and an enthusiasm for making things happen.
You love data and understand the value of data driven decision making, along with a strong business systems focus.
Ideally you will be someone who has some runs on the board in a similar role, but we're also happy to talk to you if you think you have transferable skills that will enable you to hit the ground running.
Your previous leadership experience will be instrumental in developing and leading a strong service focused team that works hard to meet the expectations of the community they serve.
