About the opportunity The Risk and Compliance (R&C) function (1LoD) has responsibility for enabling the Group to manage the risks associated with their respective area of focus in line with the Group's risk appetite. In that support, the R&C function will enable the success of the business by instilling a culture of risk management as a core part of how we support our customers and ensure that we have the appropriate processes and practices to meet our compliance obligations.
We have a new opportunity as Senior Manager, Change & Improvement reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance Services (1LoD). You will play a pivotal leadership role working across 1LoD, 2LoD, and Transformation programs. You will effectively manage the "front door" for all requests to R&C which may impact multiple teams and/or changes to business processes.
You will get to: Facilitate, manage and coordinate staff and internal resources as required for all Risk & Compliance change requests impacting multiple teams, Regulatory Change or changes to risk management practices. Lead and influence Change Specialist teams in supporting R&C through Transformation ensuring appropriate change implementation plans across 1LoD. Lead and mentor a team of risk professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that allows you and the team to achieve their full potential. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, business units, and key stakeholders, promoting a culture of proactive risk management. What you'll bring to the role Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Commerce or related field highly desirable. In-depth experience in Banking and Financial Services with strong understanding of operations, products, policies and procedures. Demonstrated leadership experience including building and managing teams across multiple locations. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders across multiple levels. Experience managing and implementing change and continuous improvement initiatives. Highly inquisitive, self-driven and adaptable disposition. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. So, why work with us?
