Your new role – Senior Manager, Campus Planning! As the Senior Manager of Campus Planning, you will lead and coordinate comprehensive planning initiatives that shape the physical development of Murdoch University's campus. This pivotal role supports the University's strategic vision and operational goals, ensuring sustainable, efficient, and innovative use of campus spaces.
Your key duties include: Strategic Campus Planning: Develop and implement the campus master plan, aligning growth with the University's strategic and sustainability goals.Space Optimisation: Lead space planning initiatives to maximise efficiency and innovation in campus use.Project Management: Oversee minor capital projects, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and value for money.Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team of campus planning professionals.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align campus development with academic, community, and regulatory needs.What you'll bring to this role: Qualifications or experience in urban planning, architecture, or precinct-scale solutions.Knowledge of sustainable design, with strong problem-solving and budget management skills.Proven ability to manage service contracts and minor works projects.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.High-level computer literacy and experience leading small teams.Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills and experience required for this role.
