The Opportunity
Join Toll Group as a Senior Manager, Business Development and spearhead our success within the Government & Defence sector.
This full-time, permanent position is based in Canberra, offering you a chance to make a significant impact in a global team environment.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead a high-performance team and shape our strategy for commercial success.

A Day in the Life
Focus 60% on acquiring new clients and 40% on expanding existing accounts.
Design tailored solutions for Request for Tenders (RFTs) and manage key contract relationships.
Lead Engagements: Oversee account management, ensuring high-level customer interactions and satisfaction.
Uncover Opportunities: Identify and connect with target customers to unlock new business prospects.
Manage Leads: Capture and navigate leads through the government procurement process.
Work with the Growth Solutions team to craft impactful customer presentations and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with offshore BD teams to develop and deliver international solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
NV1 clearance preferred, or the ability to obtain it as an Australian Citizen.
Established network within the defence sector.
Proven track record in business development and sales, particularly with government clients.
Ideally, experience in selling logistics services or similar.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
