As the Senior Manager – Asset Management & Contractor Services, in the Sustainable Business Energy Solutions (SBES) Team, you will be responsible for leading, overseeing and optimising the performance, reliability, and efficiency of energy assets, ensuring they meet operational standards and strategic objectives.
The SBES Team is responsible for managing relationships with electrical contractors, business licenses, coordinating maintenance and upgrades, and implementing best practices in asset management to maximise lifespan, compliance, quality and safety of energy infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:Driving innovation by shaping and executing integrated strategies across SBES and the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Business Unit, leveraging best practices and market trends to continuously enhance team capability and process performance.Delivering on revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction and employee engagement objectives by leading, resourcing and supporting a team of operation roles as well as overseeing operations and maintenance strategies.Elevating customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem resolution, and maintaining high-quality standards across operations and contractor management as well as driving business profitability through active sales, warranty cost control, asset performance and payment collection.Leading and motivating a medium-sized team to deliver outstanding results, fostering a high performing, engaged, and capability-driven culture.Championing risk mitigation by embedding quality and safety best practices into all activities, ensuring a robust approach to risk and control implementation.Promoting a safety-first culture by managing HSE targets, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting proactive safety initiatives within the team and contractors.What you'll bring:Recognised project management qualification and demonstrated experience in asset operations management, revenue and cost management within the energy industry.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to identify and deliver on new market opportunities and products.Strong internal and external stakeholder capability, including demonstrated customer focus, management of third-party contractors experience and negotiating skills.Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver a strong HSE culture and experience in quality control.Inclusion at AGL At AGL, we value diversity and welcome applicants from various backgrounds, including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, individuals with disabilities, culturally diverse individuals, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
