1 day ago, from University of WollongongFixed term, full-time appointment (2.5 years)This new role provides an exciting opportunity to implement a refreshed institutional academic integrity framework and to provide leadership, education, and investigative capability to support academic staff in upholding academic integrity.The Senior Manager, Academic Integrity will lead the work of the Office of Academic Integrity which sits within the Academic Quality and Standards Division (AQS). The incumbent will manage a team that works collaboratively with the Academic Integrity Advisory Group, colleagues in AQS, and learning and teaching stakeholders across the University to implement changes to UOW's academic integrity framework. This framework takes an educative approach by improving awareness amongst students and staff and building staff capability in detecting, reporting, investigating, and determining outcomes of academic integrity breaches. The role will also focus on identifying and mitigating future risks to academic integrity by proactively coordinating institutional approaches in response to emerging technologies including Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) that impact learning and teaching activities, academic integrity, and assessment security.This position requires strong policy and operational skills, investigative skills, and the ability to exercise considerable judgement, initiative, discretion, and independence while interacting daily with senior staff across the University.Applicants are required to submit a resume and cover letter and respond to a selection criteria questionnaire as part of the online application.
