In this pivotal role, you will lead the preparation of TAFE SA's consolidated financial performance reports, ensuring timely and accurate insights for internal and external stakeholders.As part of the Corporate Finance team, you will work closely with the TAFE SA Board, Executive, and external stakeholders like the Department of Treasury and Finance. Your expertise will guide financial performance reporting and help shape strategic decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and non-financial reports.Provide analysis and commentary for TAFE SA Board reports, Ministerial briefings, and performance statements.Organize, visualize, and analyse data from multiple sources to support strategic decision-making.Drive process improvements and create tools, dashboards, and standardized reporting frameworks.Foster a high-performance team culture and contribute to service delivery excellence.To be successful in this role, you will need:Expertise in financial and performance management reporting with strong analytical skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Power BI and other Microsoft tools.A degree in accounting, economics, or a related field, with CA or CPA designation being desirable.Excellent written and business analysis skills, with experience in developing strategies and business cases.The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
