Our Corporate Services Finance team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant as the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water grows.
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering the work plan of the unit - including financial analysis, budget management and analysis, reconciliations, reporting and forecasting, and month-end processing. The team undertakes work which assists other members of the Finance and Strategic Budgeting team to deliver the wider program of business analysis and advice.
About You
We are looking for somebody who has strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and a methodical approach. You will have solid problem-solving skills with a strong track record of critical and analytical thinking. A positive 'can do' attitude and an appetite to develop or change processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the business will be critical for success.
Essential Requirements: Appropriate tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership to a recognised professional accounting organisation such as CPA or similar and be prepared to progress to membership status. To Apply
