Senior Management Accountant

Full time$130,000 – 140,000 + superannuation + bonusThe Role & ResponsibilitiesWe have been engaged to recruit a permanent, full-time Senior Management Accountant to start in January 2025 after the year-end period.Reporting directly into the Commercial Finance Manager & working alongside a team of two (2) Management Accountants this role will have duties including (not limited to):Partner with key decision makers within Operations at head office & at various sites across NSW;Budgeting, forecasting & cyclical planning activities;P&L analysis, providing relevant commentary & answering relevant queries;Identify levers driving cost & recommend changes to operating rhythms accordingly;Assist with the preparation of various reporting cycles (month, half & year-end cycles); andAd hoc tasks – typically process optimization & automation utilising Power BI.The Successful CandidateOur client has placed importance on hiring someone with relevant tertiary qualifications (CPA, CA or ACCA) & similar, relevant experience from the FMCG/ Manufacturing world.Given the exposure to a wide range of stakeholders you will be articulate, well mannered & exhibit effective communication skills to liaise with Operations & Site based- leads.They are also seeking someone with working, practical experience utilising SAP, ideally with exposure to the costing module.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call David Stuart–Watt at u&u on 0406 470 325 quoting reference number 39753.
