About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is focused on managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing in-depth financial insights, and driving improvements in processes and operational efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with operations and senior leadership to deliver regular management reporting and analysis, ensuring the business meets its strategic objectives while adhering to best practices.
Responsibilities: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.Take initiative to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements to enhance financial and operational outcomes.Partner with project, operations and sales teams to provide key insights that support strategy and performance.Ensure the monthly P&L is closed within five working days and results are uploaded to the consolidation program.Prepare and analyse monthly management packs, including variance analysis, margins, and labour reporting.Monitor cash flow.Monthly financial reporting and assist with board pack preparation.Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and liaise with banking partners regarding hire purchase assets.Ensure internal controls and efficient business processes are maintained and improved.Provide proactive commercial insights into business performance and communicate actionable recommendations.Skills and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance and CPA/CA qualified.Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Financial Analyst role, with strong skills in budgeting and forecasting.Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, or Construction industries is highly regarded.Advanced communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership and operational teams.Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvements.Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Benefits: Organisation with strong market presence with a consistent pipeline of work.Convenient Inner West location with onsite parking.5 days on site role to drive internal collaboration and positive culture.Salary $130-140 k + Superannuation, commensurate with experience.To Apply:
