Senior Management Accountant

About The Firm:

Our client is a well-known and highly respected Australian brand that has been in operation for over 100 years, and today spanning across multiple offices in Australasia!

With continual growth in Queensland, the corporate head office located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD is now seeking an experienced accountant to join their accounting/finance division. Duties & Responsibilities:Create monthly financials and management reportsAnnual budgeting and regular cashflow reportingDiscuss trends and changes with business ownersReview and complete monthly accounting processes including bank reconciliations, AP, AR and payrollComplete compliance processes including balance sheet reconciliations and BAS/IAS reporting and lodgementsPrepare and analyse ad hoc financial reports to assist with business decisionsSupport the leadership team with strategic financial decisionsHelp to supervise junior accountants; allocate work, review and provide on the job mentorship

About You:Experience with using XEROStrong customer service and communication skillsEnjoys a mixed role including hands-on financial work, analysis and client managementPrevious experience in a similar management accountant roleExperience working within a franchisee model is highly regardedWe will consider candidates coming from a public practice accounting background with experience preparing month-end financial reporting for clients
