Senior Machine Operator

A reputable construction company based in Sydney is seeking a skilled Senior Machine Operator to join their team. This organisation has a long-standing presence in the industry, providing essential services to various sectors, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in excavator operation, concrete piling, or bored/CFA piling. They should have the ability to lead and supervise a site team, ensuring effective collaboration on construction or civil sites. Experience in machine maintenance and repairs, particularly in the vertical installation of piles, is crucial. While experience with specific equipment is ideal, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a site team, conducting regular safety briefings.Perform excavator operations, focusing on the installation of piles.Conduct machine safety and pre-start checks, adhering to OH&S regulations.Maintain and repair machinery as required.Communicate effectively with team members and management.
