Allygroup is looking for an experienced advocate who can appear in administrative law proceedings and provide strategic legal advice to support the Litigation Team of a high-functioning federal government agency for a 12-month contract under a secondment arrangement.
Our ideal candidate needs to have relevant litigation experience in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and/or Court (or equivalent) and experience in administrative law.
The candidate for this senior role will manage legal matters associated with agency programs and will be responsible for providing complex legal advice, preparing litigation files, and advocacy work.
The candidate is required to engage in merits review processes including ADR and advocacy in relevant Tribunals and courts.
The ideal candidate will also be suitably experienced to be able to provide supervision and train junior lawyers.
