The City of Mandurah is seeking 2 talented and enthusiastic individuals to be Senior Lifeguards at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreational Centre.
You will be responsible for: Pool Surveillance First Aid Customer Service with aquatic clientele Dealing with challenging situations Set up & dismantle of equipment.
Cleaning & maintenance of the pool area Compliance with City of Mandurah policies, procedures and Code of Conduct Training, development and mentoring of Lifeguards To be successful you will have: Minimum of 2 years' demonstrated experience in undertaking the Lifeguard role or a similar role A Royal Lifesaving Society Pool Lifeguard Award or equivalent A Provide First Aid Award Pool Operation Certificate Leisure Institute of WA Aquatics (LIWA) Accreditation National Police Clearance.
Working with Children Check Good communication skills with ability to deal with difficult customers Good organisational skills The ability to work within a team The ability to work various shifts spanning across weekdays & weekends.
The ability to work school hours desirable.

The finer details This permanent part time (20 hours per week) Level 3 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $70,866 - $76,641 per annum ($35.86 - $38.78 per hour).
Additional rates apply for all ordinary hours worked on a Saturday (25%) and Sunday (50%).
