Aerometrex is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior LiDAR Technical Lead to join our Maroochydore team.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the LiDAR production team, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and maintaining the highest standards of data accuracy and quality.
You'll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to manage resources, timelines, and deliverables.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge geospatial products while fostering strong partnerships and team collaboration.Your key responsibilities include:Technical Leadership & Team Support: Provide technical leadership, oversight, and training to the LiDAR production team.Resource Planning & Project Management: Plan and allocate resources across multiple projects to meet client schedules and quality specifications.Delivery Management: Manage project timelines and milestones to achieve all processing targets within required timeframes.Quality Control & Standards Compliance: Maintain processing standards, perform quality checks, and ensure data and product quality.Subcontractor Coordination & Collaboration: Manage subcontractor relationships and coordinate with internal teams to meet project milestones.Documentation: Maintain workflows, metadata, and production documentation for each project.Communication: Communicate production status with project teams, sharing performance updates and resolving issues as they arise.
Prepare and deliver project reports, including acquisition reports, final control reports, and project status updates for stakeholders.Data Management & Backup: Ensure secure data backups and archiving across both in-house and cloud environments.Meetings & Reporting: Coordinate production and client meetings, including project initiation, inception, progress updates, and completion reviews.Safety Management: Ensure a safe production environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Benefits on offer:At Aerometrex, we are committed to supporting our employees' personal and professional growth through a range of benefits.
