Full time Salary: $115,899 - $130,733 (EL 1) + BDCP + Super
Are you a highly experienced legal professional? Are you an organised individual who values planning to succeed? Do you want to be a key contributor to Australia's Defence Nuclear-Powered Submarine capability? If so, you might be the person we are looking for to be an EL 1 Senior Legal Officer within the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Regulatory Design (NPSRD) team.
Roles Available: EL1 Senior Legal Officer Commercial & MOU: You will lead the provision of high-level legal advice on major, complex and sensitive issues supporting the creation of the Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR), including commercial agreements, procurements, and the drafting and negotiation of memorandums of understanding. EL1 Senior Legal Officer FOI & Privacy: You will assist in providing legal advice on major, complex and sensitive issues related to FOI and Privacy, requiring in-depth knowledge of legislative frameworks and compliance. EL1 Senior Legal Officer Legal Policy and Legislation: You will assist in providing legal advice on the legislative framework for ANNPSR and the creation of legal policy, requiring expertise in legislative frameworks and government decision-making. Security Checks: Candidates may be required to undertake additional security-related checks due to the unique workplace context.
