About the Position
Our client is seeking a Senior Corporate Lawyer or Corporate Senior Associate to join as a Senior Legal Manager. You will be working with a team of qualified lawyers and experienced legal analysts to tackle complex problems and deliver corporate legal solutions by leveraging the use of technology.
You will be working in a team that merges top legal expertise with cutting-edge tools and technologists. They provide a comprehensive and holistic response to client needs, and their legal advisors support businesses with innovative solutions and technical excellence. The team excels in managing large, data-intensive projects and assists clients in navigating their digitization journeys, streamlining traditional legal processes.
About You
You are an experienced corporate lawyer that has worked on large transactions and is familiar with the type of work done by corporate teams in large law firms. You enjoy managing and mentoring young lawyers, and like to use technology to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
Duties
In the role, you will:
Manage and lead a team of lawyers and analysts.
Use technology to drive efficiency.
Deliver excellent client services and make high-quality contributions to the firm's work, including the Corporate M&A Team.
Support and promote the growth and delivery of high-quality legal work, including 'big ticket' transactions.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with:
6+ years of corporate / M&A experience.
Excellent technical skills.
An interest in joining a team that is at the forefront of legal innovation, technology and efficiency.
Prior experience in managing or mentoring juniors is not essential as training will be provided.
