Wanted: An experienced Senior Lawyer to join our Legal Services team. About the role As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice which contributes to the execution of Landgate's strategic plan, policies and procedures. This includes land administration, commercial and policy matters. You will be pro-actively engaging with Landgate's business units in support of achieving their objectives as defined in Landgate's strategic plan. This may include commercial negotiations, preparing discussion papers, board papers and cabinet submissions, drafting frameworks, policies or guidelines, and liaising and consulting with external parties on behalf of Landgate on a range of legal matters.
You will act as a Freedom of Information officer or Public Interest Disclosure Officer for Landgate if required.

Role Requirements To be successful in this role, please demonstrate:
You hold a degree in law and have been admitted as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of WA as well as a current practising certificate.You have at least five years' experience post WA admission legal experience.Significant legal experience and ability to apply legal knowledge to commercial arrangements, creating pragmatic solutions to tactical problems.Strong knowledge and experience in land administration, commercial arrangements and government operations.Proven experience encouraging innovative and creative thinking, empowering individuals to take initiative and achieve exceptional results.Ability to work and behave in a way that is consistent with Landgate's Leadership expectations and Values.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively conveying ideas both orally and in writing.Ability to effectively work with a broad range of key stakeholders, providing leadership and direction in legal matters.Applying for the role If you don't want to miss out on this great opportunity, apply now by:
