About the role As a result of significant industry growth, our client has created a new role in its well-regarded in-house legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile organisation at a critical time in the evolution of the industry in which it operates.
In this new role, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to respond to and influence regulatory change. You will work closely with the Government Relations team to prepare submissions to external stakeholders, and act as an advocate for the organisation in its engagement with industry and key decision makers.
About you You will be a lawyer with 5-12 years' experience advising on regulatory matters. Any experience in advising on or influencing legislative change in highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.
You will have a strategic approach and strong communication skills. You will be confident working with multidisciplinary teams to draft submissions and proposals for legislative reform and possess a desire to move into a role which will extend your experience into the cutting edge of the law.
