Senior Legal Counsel
is responsible for supporting the General Counsel with legal matters across the Australia New Zealand business including commercial agreements, marketing, privacy, IT and consumer/competition law issues.This role will be part time, 3 days a week based at our Support Office in Cremorne, VIC.Key responsibilities will include:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including sales, distribution, procurement technology and sponsorship contracts;Advising on marketing and brand campaigns, collaborations and trade promotions;Working with other functions to support Accent business, including on new policies for internal and public-facing initiatives;Provide strategic legal advice on data protection, privacy and general commercial matters.Providing advice on consumer and competition related issues.Provide training sessions to the businessTo be successful you will ideally have the following:Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalentDemonstrated 5 years + post qualification experiencePrevious experience working in an inhouse environment with a broad commercial backgroundProven ability to offer commercially focused legal servicesExcellent communication and influencing skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalExcellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for qualityAble to be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management directionMust be organized with strong time management skillsHighly Dynamic and adaptable work ethicCollaborative and strong interpersonal skillsHave a
