Senior Legal Counsel

Lawmee is working with a market-leading energy company that is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with 6-13+ years' PAE to join their team.
Commencing as soon as possible, this contracting opportunity is available 5 days per week for up to 6 months.
About the role:Working closely with senior management, directors, and leaders across the business, you will have the ability to turn your hand to a broad range of commercial and legal matters.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
General advisory work, including on statutory interpretation and compliance matters.Managing, drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts and agreements (such as supply and deliver contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documentation).Working closely with the business on day-to-day matters advising on operational and commercial legal problems.Who we are looking for?The ideal candidate will be an experienced generalist lawyer with commercial legal experience and a minimum of 6 years' PAE, outstanding communication skills with a practical, commercial and personable approach to legal advice.
This role would suit a driven lawyer who can work directly with senior stakeholders and manage their own matters with a high degree of autonomy.
