Two opportunities to join our team Melbourne or Sydney The opportunity Learn lots about payments with the opportunity to provide strategic, high-quality legal advice. Responsibilities Negotiation of complex contracts with vendors and key strategic customers. Review of customer-facing documentation and marketing collateral. Provide legal support launching new products and services. Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, management of legal risks and contribute to business objectives amid a rapidly changing regulatory environment. Skills and experience we need Bachelor of Laws and current practising certificate. A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience with experience working in a reputable law firm or an in-house legal team of a large or complex organisation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel, excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills. Experience in general commercial contract negotiations, consumer law and privacy together with exposure to financial products and services or a demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge of these products and services based on experience in another highly regulated industry. Ability to provide pragmatic, high-quality, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders - ensuring that advice is trusted and understood.
