The Opportunity ACM is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide specialist advice across a range of employee and industrial relations initiatives, including negotiating and administering enterprise agreements. This person will join our corporate function to manage employee disputes and grievances. 
In this role you will also be responsible for overseeing the outsourcing of advice to ACM's external lawyers where required. 
This role is open to candidates across the following locations - Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra
The successful candidate will have
Tertiary qualifications in Law (LLB), Industrial Relations/Employee Relations or similar Admission to practise as a solicitor in NSW/VIC/ACTCorporate/in-house experience would be highly preferredSignificant experience working in a complex industrial landscapeExperienced in drafting/updating enterprise agreements and exposure to unionsExperience working closely with People & Culture on complex employee and industrial relation matters Confidence to work autonomously and get your hands dirty working on challenging projects Excellent communication skills - strong ability to develop professional relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated knowledge of employment frameworks and legislation including Fair Work legislation and associated Secure Jobs Better Pay Act 2022Proven ability to draft, negotiate and review commercial agreements would be highly desirable Why you should join ACM ACM's purpose is driven by our passion for keeping our communities strong, informed and connected.
