The company: Headquartered in Brisbane, and a subsidiary of a global brand, our client has offices across the country, employs over 1,000 staff and has seen consistent year on year growth. About the role: Due to continued and sustained growth, the established legal team is now looking to add a lawyer to the function. Reporting to the Head of Legal (Australia) and working across the business you will have a corporate, commercial and contracts focus including:
drafting and advising on various contractual agreements; providing compliance, regulatory and risk advice across various product lines (as well as white-label / partner agreements); providing advice on promotional, advertising and editorial material for publication; intellectual property rights, IT, privacy and data protection; and complex multi-party commercial arrangements. Skills/Experience: To be considered for this role you will have:
a minimum of 6 years' PAE and an unrestricted practicing certificate; demonstrated experience in drafting commercial contracts; preferably some in-house experience (whether on secondment or in your current role); a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
