A leading, growing global company is seeking an employment senior legal counsel. The role will report into the General Counsel - Legal and Risk and involve working closely with senior management across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal advice on a range of employment and workplace mattersAssisting in developing policies and procedures in line with legislative requirementsMonitoring and identifying emerging employment and workplace issues and developments from a legal or regulatory perspectiveWorking closely with and advising the People & Culture team with managing and resolving workplace complaints and investigations, performance management, and disciplinary proceedings.Assisting the legal team on broader commercial contracts as required. Key Requirements: Ideally a minimum of 8+ years PQEPrevious employment law experience gained from a renowned law firm or In-House organisationExposure across Asia Pacific will be viewed favourably but not essentialProven experience in advising across a broad range of employment-related areas, including; international relocations, appropriate workplace behaviour, workplace health and safety, performance management, disciplinary proceeding, and workplace complaints and investigations.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to prioritise multiple matters and stakeholdersExcellent influencing and negotiating skillsA positive attitude and someone who enjoys working as part of a team as well as autonomously.
