Join Our Dynamic Global Legal Team!
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to be a key player in our Corporate and Merger & Acquisition functions. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support across corporate head office functions such as Strategy, Finance Tax and Treasury.
As part of our globally recognized team, you'll handle cross border Merger & Acquisition activities, complex commercial agreements, corporate restructuring, and governance issues, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive business strategy and legal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage Merger & Acquisition activities, including due diligence and contract negotiations.Provide timely legal advice across various corporate functions.Draft and review complex commercial contracts and agreements.Support corporate governance and ensure legal compliance.Mentor junior legal team members and contribute to wider legal projects across Toll Group.Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of post-qualification experience.Expertise in corporate and commercial law, particularly M&A and contract negotiations.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Law degree and current unrestricted legal practising certificate in Australia.
