Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate

An opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer to join their first-rate Legal team.Reporting to the Head of Legal – Corporate & Corporation Secretary, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will assist with the provision of a range of corporate and commercial legal advice, including review, negotiation and drafting of contracts, and providing advice on regulatory issues impacting the business. You will also assist with the review and development of policies and procedures, contribute to critical project groups and participate in and support the Company Secretary function when required.You will be a proactive and team-oriented commercial lawyer with 7-10 years' experience gained in a premier law firm and with in-house legal experience, and ideally with an interest in governance and Company Secretary functions. You will ideally also have experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial arrangements, including technology and data management contracts. A background, or well-developed interest in, funds management and the financial services industry will be highly regarded. Adaptable and thorough, with the ability to get into the detail, you will be a self-starter, and able to engage with a range of stakeholders in order to provide practical solutions to commercial problems.
