Legal Counsel, CorporateLeading Global OrdanistionHybrid WorkingA leading global organisation is currently seeking an experienced corporate/M&A lawyer to join their high performing legal team in Sydney or Melbourne. This opportunity will report into the General Counsel and will involve providing transaction support to the business.The key responsibilities of this role include:Providing transactional support for major corporate initiatives undertaken by the businessLarge-scale mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring transactionsA mix of private equity, venture capital, corporate restructuring and capital raisingsAdvising the business and senior executives on a range of legal and regulatory issues and proactively managing legal riskSupporting the business with legal services including contract review, document preparation and transaction managementAssisting the General Counsel on various project based assignments and initiativesKey Requirements:Ideally between 6 to 10 years PQE working for a top tier law firm or in-house organisationStrong corporate M&A transactional experienceStrong understanding of relevant Corporations Act and ASX Listing RulesStrong project and transaction management experienceExcellent commercial, communication and relationship building skillsPro-active and positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast paced growth orientated environmentIn return this role offers a collegiate and flexible environment.To apply for this position, please click the 'Apply Now' button below.
