Our client a leading globaL organisation, is seeking a senior legal counsel to join their legal team in their Sydney office.The role has arisen due to growth in new projects and will report to the Deputy General Counsel . You as part of an experoeced team will be involved in the provision of high-quality legal advice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal and commercial advice on major construction projects across sectors including; transport, resources, and renewablesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contractsDrafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relating to the infrastructure marketBeing involved in managing the legal team. The ideal candidate will have: 10+ PQEA background in construction, either in private practice or in an-house infrastructure legal teamExperience working on commercial- and contract-related mattersThe ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervisionThe ability to prioritise effectively and work well under pressureEffective planning and problem-solving skills to deliver operational excellence In return, you will receive: A competitive remuneration packageThe opportunity to work on some of Australia's leading infrastructure projectsA dynamic and supportive working environment that will both support and challenge you
