We're on a mission to bring new and uplifting experiences to our guests, transforming flying from simply 'nice', to something wonderful.
Like any good mission, this one starts with our people.
Which is why we encourage our team to embody the fun, laid back, authentic spirit we've become famous for.
Because when they're free to be themselves, they're better able to own their personal responsibilities and go the extra mile to help our guests.
Hello.
We're Virgin Australia.
We're the airline that's always done things a little different.
Our way.
The Virgin way.
We're on a mission to make flying better than 'nice'.
And to do that, it takes a team of talented people who are passionate about customer experience, doing the right thing always, with a focus on safety – in the air, on the ground and in our workplaces.
A team who values real diversity and inclusion, in a big brand with big ambitions.
Our ambition is clear: To be Australia's most loved airline.
To achieve this, it's critical that everything we do is done with absolute integrity and uncompromised ethics.
At Virgin Australia, we don't just talk about a culture of ethical behaviour and compliance with the law.
We live it.
One of our core values is doing the right thing - it's how we work.
It's how we play.
It's how we behave.
It's how we decide.

You will also be involved in regulatory and legislative reform processes, including providing legal advice on law reforms impacting the aviation industry and engagement with key regulators.
You'll be great in this role if you:
Have a minimum of 10 years post admission experience working with an inhouse team or reputable law firm.
Have experience in advising on some of the following key regulatory risk areas: financial services; anti-bribery/anti-corruption; competition; consumer; supply chain due diligence; modern slavery or cybersecurity.
Have experience in developing, managing, and maintaining compliance frameworks, including driving program objectives, milestones, metrics, and reporting.
Have an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills that allow you to interpret complex regulatory obligations and establish solutions for its implementation and fast adoption.
Are experienced in creating and implementing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Can provide training and mentoring on compliance with Virgin Australia's ethics and compliance program, Code of Conduct, and other related policies/procedures.
Can assist the Head of Ethics & Compliance to meet reporting obligations for the Executive Leadership Team and the Virgin Australia Group Boards, including by preparing updates on current matters or relevant issues as required.
Are experienced in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Have exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Enjoy providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team.
