A new permanent Senior Legal Counsel & Co Sec position in Perth, requiring someone with 5-8 years PAE.Your new companyOur long-standing, established and innovative client located Centrally in Perth is recruiting for a new permanent Senior Legal Counsel & Co Sec.Your new roleThis Senior Legal Counsel & Co Sec role has company-wide oversight and responsibility for all legal matters.You will be responsible for, but limited to:Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Contract negotiation, dispute resolution and corporate governance.Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and advisors.Perform duties and responsibilities as required by the Corporations Act.Advise the Board on governance matters.Oversight and management of Board packs and quality of reporting.Understand the business operations to accurately represent the Company in legal, risk and compliance related activities.What you'll need to succeed- Minimum of 5+ years PAE with practising certificate.- Proven track record providing strategic legal advice.- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.- Strong attention to detail.What you'll get in return- Working closely with Senior Management and Executives.- A commercial remuneration package.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or contact Ed Inglis at ******.
