This is a part-time role and is based in Macquarie Park (with flexible work options available). Job Summary This role is responsible for creating legal content for the iKnowConnect platform which is needed by thousands of legal professionals who rely on Wolters Kluwer to deliver deep domain knowledge. Your published work will be seen across our flagship digital research platforms and can span across many legal topics.
You will develop and revise technology specifications, data structures, and content for specific products. Your role will also be responsible for gathering and interpreting technical requirements and alignment with internal content and design strategies. Designing, developing, and deploying translation programming as required for print products and/or electronic media.
Responsibilities: Build compelling legal content, including analysis of legislation and cases as well as practical information, for lawyers and other legal professionals to access via our award-winning online research platforms. Develop thought leadership awareness features to provide important daily and weekly updates on announcements and changes. Help us stay relevant. Your ongoing reviews of existing content and feedback will refine and enhance our domain knowledge which in turn helps clients across the country. Take a deep dive into the needs of your relevant legal customer group. Own the monitoring of customer feedback, usage reports and financial data and strengthen the client experience. Appoint and manage internal and external writing contributors. About You: 3 -5 years' experience in legal practice or legal learning. Recent experience in an Australian law firm or as a law academia. A generalist background with a focus on commercial law. The ability to translate highly technical legal issues into user-friendly language. Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
