About the role As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of professional development on Scholarship of Learning and Teaching and Innovation with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
You will lead the establishment of processes and reward structures and contribute to the research activities and administrative functions of the portfolio.
You will: lead University-wide Communities of Practice in areas of Generative Artificial Intelligence, Academic Integrity, Scholarship of Learning and Teaching and Innovation, and Educational Technology; engage in teaching activities and coordinate excellent teachers in sharing practice to lift up educational technology literacy; make a significant contribution to research activity through own publications in Learning and Teaching, mentoring, and creating an environment that enables access to educational research opportunities; and participate in team projects and various committee meetings as required.
About you You will work as part of the portfolio's team of academic and administrative staff.
You will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term strategies for the portfolio within the strategic framework of the University and in accordance with its mission.
You will be a creative thinker and avid problem-solver, who possesses initiative, innovation, and a can-do attitude.
You will possess: demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for the delivery of academic professional development; a demonstrated record of research outputs in the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching; demonstrated experience working with and engaging academic staff in educational technologies and GenAI; and substantial experience in facilitating communities of practice of academic and professional staff.
